Relax Spa opened in 2013.  We have continually upgraded our treatment menu and retail available to provide the best possible service to you, our valued clientele.  Relax is owned and operated by Julie and Lawrence Castor.  Julie, Spa Therapist, has 19 year’s industry experience.  Specialising in massage and waxing, Julie’s aim is to provide unparalleled service to her clientele.  Originally trained in Sydney, Julie’s experience includes world class spas overseas.  Lawrence, Makeup Artist, has 24 years’ industry experience.   Specialising in makeup and eyebrow shaping, Lawrence’s goal is to raise the professional standard in the beauty industry.  Originally trained in California, Lawrence’s experience has included television and film credits, as well as editorial and runway work.  Julie and Lawrence have had previous salons in Australia, America and New Zealand and have spent over a decade training the Beauty, Health and Service training packages.

Bookings can be made in person at reception or via telephone or email.  Please do not rely on Email if your booking is urgent.  Call 0427 062 210 to make a booking.  Feel free to call/text outside of business hours; we are always available to our clients.  E-bookings should be directed to info@relaxyoudeserveit.com.au .  We suggest that you book 7-10 days in advance to secure your desired appointment date and time.  If your desired date is unavailable, you may ask to be placed on our waiting list.

Late Arrivals Make it Difficult for Everyone.

We do understand that circumstances may arise unexpectedly, however, late arrivals tend to compromise the punctuality of service we can provide to you, as well as our other clients.  We do maintain a relatively tight schedule, and we make every attempt to begin your appointment at the time scheduled.

Due to the difficulty of filling last-minute cancellations, we respectfully request 24 hours’ notice. If this request is not fulfilled, it will be necessary to charge the full fee for the missed appointment.  We understand that the unexpected occurs and will overlook one missed appointment per calendar year.  Repeat offences become charges.

Please understand that we consider this a last resort, with the real motivating factor being our concern for the quality of service we can provide to you, and to our other valued clients.

Please understand that the timings provided are guidelines for you to estimate your time in the spa and help you to organize the following events of your day.  Multiple treatments in a single booking may be performed quicker and do not represent a loss in treatment quality, but the efficiency and professionalism of our treatment staff.

Prices are subject to change.  We endeavour to keep our prices as low as possible, to allow you to visit more often.  Due to fluctuation in the AU dollar and shipping costs, prices may vary, please understand.

For your own safety, please turn off your mobile phone.  Imagine your phone rings while we are tweezing your brows or applying hot wax, a chemical peel, glue, or solvent near the eye and you instinctively turn your head, forcing an implement or product into your eye.  Other situations also present a real danger to you and those around you.  Please accommodate our staff and other patrons in our effort to maintain a relaxing, safe environment for all.

First time clients should arrive five minutes early to complete a client consultation card.  This ensures you maximum treatment time.  Legislation requires you to inform your therapist if you are carrying a communicable condition or disease.  Please update your medical history as needed.

Please shower before body treatments and intimate waxing.

Disposable bras, panties and jocks are available.  If the therapist anticipates the need, they will be placed on the treatment table; If they are not and you desire a pair, please ask.

If you need to use the restroom during a treatment, sanitised robes and slippers are available for your use.

Avoid caffeine (a nerve stimulant) and alcohol and aspirin (blood thinners) prior to waxing for your own comfort and safety.

It is rare that any part of a treatment should cause you discomfort, please let the therapist know if you are not comfortable.

Pre and Post-treatment relax time is encouraged for all patrons.  Please feel free to relax in our indoor or outdoor client areas with a drink and treat of your choice.  We hope that you are offered this option by our staff, but if we miss you in haste, don’t feel shy about requesting what you need to enhance your experience.

Our Indulgence and Extravagance Spa Packages include lunch; please notify us of dietary restrictions/preferences at the time of booking

There is a guest book in reception.  We love to hear your praise.

We are absolutely sure that you will enjoy your experience.  However, if there is any aspect of treatment that you would like to comment on, we welcome your feedback.

Clients under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

We do our best to accommodate clients with children in accompaniment.  However, please be aware that we are striving to create a luxurious,pampering environment for our guests.  We have multiple client waiting areas and ask that if you bring children with you, please move out of the main waiting area, which is between our massage and facial rooms, for the benefit of other customers.  We will be pleased to seat you in another area that allows everyone, including your children, to relax.  Please bring something to amuse your children, like a quiet game, puzzle or tablet with volume set at an appropriate level and instruct them to use their whisper voices.  Children should not be left unattended at any time.  If you are unprepared to have them with you in the treatment room, please don’t bring them with you.

We reserve the right to refuse service.  If your attitude is unacceptable, you will be asked to leave the premises.  We love our clients, but also protect our staff.
